A group of 10 domain brokers who haven’t scored more than a handful of sales in 2024 are upset by the Escrow.com awards.
The team of “bottom 10 brokers” issued a joint statement that describes their position in the domain industry, along with their lack of any notable achievements.
Speaking on behalf of the team and using only his first name for anonymity, domain broker “Paul” stated:
“How nice seeing millions of dollars of combined domain sales rubbed on our faces like that. Whilst not all of us can be Mr. Rosener, we have achieved quite a few brokered deals last year, mind you. One was for five figures, the other was for high three figures—what truly matters is domain liquidity: We helped the sellers get rid of these domains after holding them for 18 years.”
The signed protest seeks recognition from the domain investor community for the world’s “Bottom 10 Domain Brokers” and promises to launch its own awards.
Added “Paul” in a statement:
“We charge flat brokerage fees and don’t show up on boring YouTube channels to talk about our sales! If we must be the bottom 10 brokers, so be it but we get shit done, damn it. Next year there will be awards that we win, so stay tuned!”
It’s not possible to beat Drew Rosener in his game so the world’s bottom 10 brokers are clearly trying to change the domain game’s rules.
Will they succeed?
