Caution: Fake Sedo associate identified on LinkedIn

LinkedIn is the world’s top professional network connecting millions around the globe.

Creating your own professional profile on LinkedIn takes a few steps; providing accurate information is an important part of the process. It will take your connection reach to the next level and it’s a profile representing you among other professionals.

Meanwhile, if you create a fake profile, alleging you work for Sedo, you might fool some until it’s time to start packing.

Christian Voss, CMO of Sedo, identified one such fake Sedo account, created by a presumably Taiwanese individual. “Denny Lam” pertains to be Sales Manager at Sedo.com, LLC, which of course it’s not true.

Said Christian Voss:

“A Sedo broker is a real person – a person with a face, soul, passion and knowledge! Don’t get fooled by bots, fake accounts or scammer. If in doubt just ask me.”

That person somehow accumulated more than 500 contacts using this fake profile and shares contacts among other domain industry professionals.
