The ultra-premium geo-domain, Cayman.com, has been acquired by Media Options.
Cayman.com is among the top 100 earliest registered domain names ever, ranking #97 on that list; Cayman.com was registered on November 16, 1987.
Media Options founder, Andrew Rosener, shared the news of the domain’s acquisition on Twitter/X:
“We just acquired Cayman.com – the #94 .com domain name ever registered, back in 1987!
Great geo and brand. Very pleased…”
Cayman.com appears to have been in the possession of Jamaica-based Yello Media Group.
It’s a domain that domain investor and entrepreneur, Frank Schilling, would have loved to own.
