August isn’t over yet and Telepathy, Inc. appears to have scored a major domain sale, one of many this year.
Clasp.com is a premium, aged, dictionary .com domain registered in 1997. According to WHOIS records, it was moved out of Dynadot to GoDaddy yesterday. Despite privacy WHOIS, the fact that it’s using GoogleDomains as its DNS indicates that the sale has completed.
Clasp.com, matching the keyword “clasp”, has been in the possession of Nat Cohen‘s company since May 2013; before that, it was in the hands of Japanese animator, Fumie Mizuguchi. Clasp is both a noun and a verb.
The domain name Clasp.com is definitely an ultra premium domain valued at six figures minimum.
It’s odd seeing Estibot valuing it at $45,000 dollars, while SAW does better by setting its worth at $96,000 dollars. Knowing Nat’s prolific status as a domain investor, the domain name Clasp.com was sold for at least $200,000 dollars and hopefully we’ll find out soon who is the buyer. Clasp.com does not resolve, currently.
Congratulations to Telepathy.com for yet another solid domain sale this year!
