Density unveils Routines | Routines.com helping older Americans age in place

Density has launched Routines, a radar and AI-powered system designed to help older Americans live independently longer. The platform tracks caregiver arrivals, unexpected absences, and real-time routines while maintaining complete anonymity.

The system is built on Waffle, Density’s low-cost, self-installable radar sensor. Known for its award-winning, friendly design, Waffle is valued for its accuracy and privacy-first approach, offering an alternative to camera-based monitoring.

Operating from the domain name Routines.com—a 1996 domain registration—the brand’s acquisition appears to have taken place in recent days; the sale most likely took place on Afternic, although the seller’s domain portfolio still functions on DAN.com DNS.

The last listed asking price for Routines.com was $79,995 dollars, set in 2021; we can safely deduce that the asking price went up since.

According to Density, aging-in-place demand continues to grow: 93% of Americans over 65 want to stay in their homes, yet 44% of their children live over an hour away, and 25% live in a different state.

With only 1.4 million of the nation’s 54 million older adults in assisted living, technology like Routines aims to fill the gap.
