FireMusk.com: Newly registered domain drives anti-billionaire sentiment

Elon Musk, a special government employee, has been granted extraordinary powers under the Donald J. Trump administration.

The Tesla and SpaceX founder owns and operates X, formerly Twitter, as well as being the world’s richest person. His current involvement with restructuring US government agencies has become controversial, as Elon Musk is not an elected official.

Driving anti-billionaire sentiment, a new movement calls for President Donald Trump to “Fire Musk.

Common Cause, operating from the domain name CommonCause.org, asserts to be a nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated to upholding the core values of American democracy.

According to their web site, they “work to create open, honest, and accountable government that serves the public interest; promote equal rights, opportunity, and representation for all; and empower all people to make their voices heard in the political process.”

The foundation has also registered the domains FireMusk.com and FireMusk.org. Both domains were registered at the end of January and forward to CommonCause.org; the foundation also owns CommonCause.com.
