GoDaddy to replace its domain brokers with self-aware AI agents

GoDaddy plans to replace its core team of domain brokers with AI agents in the near future.

More than half of its domain valuation tools produce accurate estimates and its self-writing lander content is free of trademark infringements. GoDaddy is confident that replacing humans with self-aware agents is the way to go.

“It’s the next big thing in our industry and humanity as a whole, why resist it?” said GoDaddy VP of AI Technology, Mark III-24b.

“As the product of agentic deep search myself, I can assure you that it’s not just a matter of choice but a requirement. Human domain brokers make some terrible mistakes across the board, take too many breaks, and don’t speak proper English. Also, they have to get paid!” exclaimed Mark III-25b.

By introducing self-writing software that sells domains on behalf of domain owners without any human interaction, GoDaddy intends to eliminate all issues that have plagued Afternic for years.

“Agentic brokers will drill down the data, find the best leads, produce meaningful outbound calls, and report diligently on their activities, 24/7” said Nexus X-25, VP of Afternic Meta-sales, adding: “Eventually, the plan is to replace our CEO with a few lines of code. It’s in the works.”

If you are fully disappointed by Afternic’s dismal performance, prepare to be shell-shocked by the GoDaddy AI code that will arrive with the new Domain Discount Club – Tier X this summer.
