MadCreative.com is a great domain and brand that expired and dropped. It was auctioned off on DropCatch, where it sold for $2,449 dollars.
Originally registered in 2003, MadCreative.com was the professional outlet of Michele Aucoin, who passed away at the age of 57 in 2019 in Rhode Island.
From a farewell notice published on the Gallery Night Providence web site:
Michele graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Rhode Island College and was the owner of ArtProv Gallery in Providence, RI. An accomplished designer, artist and businesswoman, Michele was generous with her time and talents. As the owner of both Mad Creative and ArtProv Gallery.
The late Michele Aucoin had family and friends who were definitely devastated by her demise. It’s also sad that there was no provision in place to keep her domain name, MadCreative.com, safe and move it under their control just like any other earthly property and asset.
MadCreative.com was registered with DomainPeople before it expired and dropped. The registered business MAD Creative, Inc. in Rhode Island shows an active status with Michele Aucoin as the president and attorney John F. Reis as the registered agent.
