NamesCon 2025: Additional photos from the highly-successful Miami conference

NamesCon 2025 in Miami, Florida, provided domain investors and other industry professionals with an unforgettable experience.

It carried the legacy of the original NamesCon Vegas conference remarkably well; at the same time, it broke away from the norm as the venue separated itself from the primary hotels. This way, ample vendor space was utilized, keeping the majority of attendees on professional, well-designed meeting grounds, away from the hotels. Attendees engaged longer with each other; after all, that’s what the conference is all about! 😉

Here are some additional photos from the event:

The Freename guys were super friendly, promoting their remarkable company’s convergence of Web2 & Web3 domains, while video-interviewing an endless stream of attendees. Watch out for our interview in the coming weeks!

Dnsimple is a friendly, fun, but seriously focused venture that aims to keep your web sites up and running 24/7, and more. They had one of the best designed booths that sported a great color palette.

Joe Uddeme and Brooke Hernandez are two of the world’s most successful domain brokers, that often fly under the radar. That’s the way to do it!

Can you spot one half of the Castello Brothers? David Castello is busy chatting at the Sedo booth with Nena Hajikhani. Sedo broker Dave Evanson is on the right; we have no idea who is the guy in the purple shirt.

Core4 Solutions; these guys demonstrated some super cool-looking hardware, delivering IT infrastructure for your business. The Escrow.com guys are on the right.

Anthos Chrysanthou, founder and CEO of domain registrar Sav, sharing news of his company’s launch of an AI-driven solution, code-named “Savannah.” Tess Diaz of it.com was a great interviewer.

Sam Aidun, of Trupelo — one of the nicest guys in the domain industry and a rock star legend, for those that know. It was great catching up after nearly a decade!

Meanwhile, a quartet of IP attorneys rocked the UDRP panel: Jason Schaeffer with his peers Jeff Neuman, John Berryhill, and Mike Rodenbaugh.

The domain broker GOAT: Drew Rosener, founder of Media Options, receives his 7th consecutive award as top broker; Masters of Domains awards were presented by Escrow.com.

Cloudfest took place under the same roof, following their own agenda that featured a wide variety of events, open to the rest of us.

Two tall Germans, Martin Steinkamp of co.de and Christian Voss of Taku & GMO Registry.

The Atom.com booth giving away free protons, neutrons, and electrons.

Mark Ghoriafi of Sedo is cracking a hilarious joke as moderator of a domain brokerage panel. Note on proper attire: socks should match the dress pants’ color, which Mark nailed.

With Andrew Allemann of Domain Name Wire who apparently hasn’t aged at all in the last 20 years!

Duckies, duckies everywhere! The Sedo booth is full of well-printed material about domain investing, auctions, and more—yet, everyone wanted to grab a colorful ducky.

With my twin brother, Domain Sherpa extraordinaire, Jonathan Tenenbaum, at the Sedo party.

Mark Ghoriafi sported an insanely glittery blue shirt with a Greek meander key, honoring both Sedo and my home country. This is Mark’s own photo.

With old friend Jason Schaeffer of ESQwire. I made sure that we got photobombed by Andee Hill of ICANN.

No idea who is this guy but he owns DN.com and a billion other two letter .com domains.

Saving the best for last: With legendary domain investor & TikTok comedian Dave Lahoti of SyncPoint. On the left: the very talented Brian Manesh of IRGData. Check out his sister’s MamaMimi.com venture about education & support for kids with special needs!
