The most hated domainer in America is spending time in jail; Martin Shkreli is known as the “pharma bro” who raised the price of an anti-AIDS medication to more than $700 a pill.
New information shows that Shkreli is still running his pharmaceutical venture remotely, by using cellphones in jail. The new venture is called Phoenixus Holdings AG, and for that purpose the domain Phoenixus.com is being used.
The lander has no contact information. Using a domain as a point of presence makes sense for every active business, but in the case of Phoenixus, the web site is nothing but a fancy logo of a phoenix bird.
Martin Shkreli believes the company, of which he owns 40%, could be worth $3.7 billion dollars by the time he gets out of prison, in the 2020’s.
Who has time to develop a web site when it has some a “promising” future?
