Martin Shkreli, also known as “pharma bro,” is on trial for securities fraud charges; the controversial 34-year-old faces up to 20 years behind bars if convicted.
Shkreli gained notoriety after raising the price of an HIV drug by 5,000% during his tenure at Turing Pharmaceuticals.
For this activity, Martin Shkreli has been referred to by the media as “the most hated man in America.”
But it gets better, as Shkreli has registered the full names of reporters that wrote negatively about his activities, and is trying to sell them at an 1,000x profit.
According to his Facebook post:
“Selling www.emilysaul.com and www.megtirrell.com to raise money for my debut album: “God’s Gift: The Album”. I bought these domains for $12 – you can have them for $12,000. Tryna to get that Future feature doe”
That act makes Shkreli a domainer, and potentially, the most hated domainer in America. 😀
