The registrant of pornographic domains decided to pitch them on Twitter, a practice that rarely yields any sales.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with porn domains, often described in euphemism as “adult domains.” For better or worse, the majority of Internet traffic revolves around pornography, with the rest being Fortnite battles and cat memes. 😀
However, tagging domain bloggers with the pornographic sales pitch – and the specific “anal cave” domains – can be upsetting to some.
No wonder Shane Cultra reacted to the Twitter spam rather swiftly:
“Really? You’re going to tag all these great people with AnalCave? Go ahead and start drafting your apology letter”
Indeed, there are limits to what one is willing to process, and pornographic domains (adult domains) aren’t the bread and butter of most domainers – although Rick Schwartz, owner of Ass.com, Oral.com, Puta.com, HornyMILF.com, Vagina.com, GirlWatchers.com and many MANY more adult domains, would disagree.
The bottom line: If you want to promote your domains, regardless of content, don’t spam others on social media.
