A Swedish entrepreneur acquired the ultra-premium domain Protein.com for seven figures on behalf of his company.
The sizable upgrade took place a month ago, with the Swedish company, Protein.se, forking out an incredible one million euro.
That’s equivalent to $1,209,160 dollars at the exchange rate of late April, but worth $1,219,254 dollars today. However you count the money, it’s still $1.2 million dollars! 😀
Registered in 1995, the domain Protein.com was acquired from multinational giant, DuPont.
Protein.se also acquired the German “protein” domain, Protein.de, sometime in February 2021. No information about that acquisition is known.
The sale of Protein.com would rank as the 3rd highest domain sale reported in 2021, per DNJournal’s charts.
