Russia is getting a lot of negative coverage these days while Russian domain investors continue business as usual.

A self-professed cybersquatter from Russia remains unfazed by today’s economic conditions and continues to sell his domains.

The fun part lies in the portfolio domain: Cybersquatters.ru.

Says the Russian domain investor cybersquatter:

In light of recent events (the transfer of government websites to our servers and to the .RU domain zone in 4 days, the blocking of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the possible blocking of YouTube), the issue of presenting a business online is becoming especially relevant. A domain zone other than .RU, a page on a social network instead of a full-fledged website, sanctions from certain foreign hosting providers and payment systems carry additional risks in these difficult times.
