ICANN moved its upcoming event, ICANN84, away from Muscat, Oman.
Citing current conditions in the middle east, ICANN moved its 27th annual general meeting to Dublin, Ireland. The event will take place on October 25-30, 2025.
The city of Dublin was the host for ICANN54—30 full sessions ago—which took place in October 2015.
Noting the upcoming move of ICANN84 to Dublin made Michele Neylon quite happy with memories from ICANN54 and he shared the following video titled, “That night in Dublin at ICANN 54”.
You can now say that Dublin is doubling its appearances as a city hosting ICANN sessions! 🙂 ☘️
