Wallstreet Bets is the name of a sub-Reddit consisting of mostly “retail investors” heavily using the Robinhood trading platform. There are more than 6 million members at this time.
There’s plenty of information on the internet regarding the effects that this group has on Wall Street and stocks. The price of certain stocks such as AMC and GME (GameStop) has skyrocketed to spite hedge funds shorting the stock.
For now, the domain WallstreetBets.com made its appearance on Afternic, where it’s listed for sale for $99,000 dollars and a minimum asking price of $25,000 dollars.
Registered in 1998, WallstreetBets.com was in the possession of a Chinese registrant until 2011, when it moved under WHOIS privacy, presumably after a sale.
Due to the popularity of the WallstreetBets sub-Reddit, Wallstreetbets.com appears to have received increased traffic in recent days, per Alexa metrics.

Me wonder if that sold already. Gone from afternic, and looks like different name server now. Did the whois change?
