Indian domain investor Swetha Yenugula has identified the buyers of the domain Turtle.xyz, which was reportedly sold for $106,000 dollars two weeks ago.
The buyer is Turtle.club, a Web3 distribution protocol that streamlines and monetizes on-chain activities like liquidity provisioning and referrals through an API-based tracking layer, avoiding smart contracts and counterparty risk.
Its focus is on unifying fragmented liquidity across platforms while offering amplified, sustainable incentives for users and partner protocols.
Launched in March 2024 under Phantom Protocol AG, Turtle.club raised $6.2 million in seed funding in May 2025, led by Theia with backing from ConsenSys, Susquehanna, Joseph Lubin, and Ryan Fang. With over 315,000 wallets and $2.3 billion in liquidity bootstrapped, it has quickly positioned itself as a key infrastructure player in the Web3 ecosystem.
As Turtle.club now forwards to Turtle.xyz, we can safely say that .XYZ beats .Club as far as Web3 usage goes! 🙂
