Chinese domain auction platform, West.CN, maintains a domain news feed; basically, they take articles published by blogs and translate them.
News.West.CN posts these domain industry related articles in Mandarin daily, and they do not quote their sources of information.
Essentially, West.CN is copying original content, without any attribution, other than the citation “foreign media reports.”
Such stolen articles can be viewed, translated into English here.
Shame on you, West.CN!
Meanwhile, the Chinese domain market is keeping a healthy pace as we’re approaching summer.
We’re witnessing a stable sales volume in the trading of short domains, between 1 and 4 characters that we keep track of, in the .CN, .COM and .NET TLDs.
Prices have dropped slightly, however, and while on average “Chinese premium” letters (LLLL .com) sell for $1,150 – $1,300 dollars, there are exceptions: PPGS.com recently sold for $28,000 bucks, according to Dale who reported that sale.
