Veteran domain brokerage Brannans shared news of the company’s exclusive brokering of the domain Air.com.
The domain was recently returned to the estate of the rightful owner, ending a multi-month ordeal that followed the domain’s brazen theft.
In the press release by David Clements, co-founder of Brannans, the court’s documents are shared along with a statement, that reads in part:
“Our team at Brannans.com has been retained by the estate as its domain name advisor and is now guiding next steps in identifying the right long-term home for this historic domain.
If there is a lesson in this story, it is that accounts holding domain names deserve the same level of estate planning, password management, and security oversight as banking and investment accounts.”
