Actor Peter Graves has died at the age of 83.
Known for his protagonist “Mission Impossible” role on television, Peter Graves portrayed the character Jim Phelps throughout the majority of the show, which was very popular from 1967 to 1973.
The original series enjoyed a followup round of seasons from 1988 to 1990 in a modernized version which was followed by three very successful movies, starring Tom Cruise.
In an apparent ironic twist of fate, PeterGraves.com – a domain registered since 2003 – is currently listed at Sedo with a starting offer of $83, matching the actor’s age.
