Fadi Chehadé, outgoing ICANN president and CEO, gave a joyful welcome – and a teary farewell – to the attendants of ICANN55 in Marrakesh, Morocco.
The Lebanese technocrat assisted with the expansion of the Internet namespace, as more than a thousand new gTLDs were approved during his tenure.
As he’s moving on to “greener pastures,” Fadi Chehadé does not appear regretful for not owning the matching .com of his name.
Instead, he’s about to launch his very own corporate web site on a suitable new gTLD, Chehade.Company.
The web site is currently under construction, with an intended launch date of March 14th. The primary focus, according to its byline:
“Strategy, Diplomacy, Partnerships for a Trusted Digital World.”
Looking forward to reading Fadi Chehadé’s wisdom for years to come! 😀
