Protesting low PPC rates, domainer deletes LLL .com

When Joseph Yummer received April’s paycheck from his PPC provider, it was the straw that broke the camel’s back. His once best performing domains produced cents on the dollar.

Citing the ‘bad economy‘ as an excuse of lowering PPC rates and payout percentages, parking companies are generating record profits regardless.

“I hate those bastards. I give them my traffic, I get to associate my quality generics with their stupid-looking templates and what do I get back in return? Nothing but a few cents per dollar that they earn. I’ve had it.”

Joseph Yummer is no newcomer to domaining.

Since 2002 he has accumulated more than 250 LLL .com domains, which are considered the ‘gold standard’ by domainers. Lately, his revenue from these beauties has been dropping dramatically.

Joseph’s decision was equally dramatic: he informed his registrar that he wanted his worst performing LLL .com deleted.

Last Thursday, he actually pressed the button that confirmed the deletion and in an instant, an once glorious money maker was gone.

“Just like people delete their facebook accounts to protest the breach of their personal privacy, I deleted a LLL .com to protest the crappy payouts by providers such as Yahoo and Google. I issued a press release that is now causing some serious ripples in the domain industry. Those corporations will soon find out that domainers are not slaves working for a pittance.”

Joseph Yummer plans to take other similar steps towards raising awareness about the practices of PPC providers. He plans to appear on the Morgan Linton show, Oprah and The Late Night Show, voicing his frustration and potentially killing more LLL .com domains in the process.

Would you delete your LLL .com in protest?

PPC never gave real money, if he really wants to score, is time to start using his brains, and try some CPA..

I think the point is, that sacrificing something of value for a worthy cost is the way to go 😉
