We predicted the huge success of the 3rd and final part of the Sedo auction, featuring short and generic .AT domains; more than $1 million dollars in sales was the total amount spent on the auctions.
By selling more than 1000 .AT domains, Sedo should be extremely happy.
In the words of its CEO, Tobias Flaitz:
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the results of the .AT Auction which exceeded both our partner’s and our own expectations.
This auction complimented the trend towards short domain names and further emphasized the value and demand for quality domain names. Furthermore, the auction allowed us to showcase our expertise as a premium domain and registry partner.
I’d like to extend a big thank you to .AT CEO Richard Wein and his team for the valuable partnership.”
Overall, the top 10 domains were as follows – prices are in EUR:
c.at 56,000 €
1.at 26,008 €
at.at 20,500 €
