GoDaddy has restored domain registrations of Uniregistry gTLDs, a few weeks after they were suspended citing company policy.
Uniregistry founder, Frank Schilling, stated:
“We’re delighted to see Godaddy offering Uniregistry domain extensions to its customers.
New name endings present a huge opportunity for future website owners. As a registry we are sometimes forced make difficult one-off adjustments in the long term best interests of our namespaces.
We thank our retail customers and our registrar partners for their understanding as we curate our namespaces to their inevitable success.”
While not all of the Uniregistry gTLDs are currently available at GoDaddy.com, the remaining ones (.click, .pics, .sexy, .christmas and .tattoo) will presumably be turned back on by September 8th, after the new Uniregistry pricing goes into effect.
With Mother’s Day coming up, now it’s time for a dot .Flowers domain, at GoDaddy! 😀
