Mike Robertson’s 5k run raised thousands for #pulmonary hypertension awareness

Mike Robertson is literally one fabulous lad.

The director of bizdev at Fabulous.com ran a 5k race this weekend, raising thousands of dollars for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.

Mike ran the race in 28′ 57″ in memory of dear friend Charlotte Gilbert, who passed recently. Charlotte suffered from the condition, and running in her memory while raising awareness and funds to help others, is one wonderful act of service to humanity.

Said Mike:

“I want to publicly thank all those that supported and donated for such an amazing cause. We collectively raised $3,275, the second highest amount raised by an individual, and we did it in 3 days, an incredible achievement. It genuinely warms my heart (and makes things hurt a little less) the outpouring of love and support from friends near and far and from Charlie and Brian’s friends and family.

Over $42K was raised in total, the most money raised for an inaugural PHA event, so we can all be extremely proud of being a part of this amazing feat. Please take time to educate yourself about Pulmonary Hypertension. And most importantly, I urge every single person that reads this to become an organ donor.

Thank you all again for coming together and showing Charlie and Brian how much you love and care for them.”

Thank you, Mike, for being such a great guy!

  1. Thanks for your support and coverage Theo. It’s greatly appreciated.

The biggest thing to stress is how important it is for people to register be an organ donor.

Also, it look like the donation link is still live. If anyone still wants to donate, they can do so here:
