Domainer-centric aftermarket, DNWE, is building up its list of features.
Just weeks after tweaking the process of listing domains to cut down on waiting time, the DNWE.com operators are bringing more to the plate.
According to an announcement, Dutch auctions are coming soon, providing domain sellers and buyers with an alternate approach to selling and buying domains.
What are Dutch auctions?
Pretty much it’s a type of auction invented by the lovely Dutch, whereupon the seller begins with a high asking price and lowers it until some bidder accepts the price, or until it reaches a predetermined reserve price.
In other words, you can list your SuperGreatWidget.com with a starting price of $1,000 and a reserve of $800, and then start lowering the asking price until someone pulls the trigger.
DNWE does not take commissions from sales, relying on monthly or annual memberships to sustain its presence.
