Veteran tennis idol, Boris Becker, spent 8 months in a British prison after being convicted of tax fraud.
A prolific tennis player and winner of several trophies, Boris Becker became “just a number” in prison, where his life was constantly at risk. On several occasions, Boris Becker feared for his life under threat by another inmate, only to be saved by fellow inmates that had a more favorable view of him.
“In prison, you are a nobody. You are just a number. Mine was A2923EV,” Becker told German broadcaster Sat 1, according to the German tabloid Bild.
Boris Becker’s prison number, A2923EV, was registered as a domain name shortly after his release and interview.

It’s almost certain that Boris Becker will be working on his prison memoirs at some point or another, making great use of his A2923EV number as part of a book title. We are not sure who might be the registrant of these domains using Boris Becker’s prison number, “A2923EV” but there’s a chance it’s the tennis player or his agents.
