A domain investor ended 2023 “with a bang” after selling the domain name Analog.io using the Afternic fast transfer system.
In other words, someone spent $60,000 dollars “cash” on a whim and acquired the domain Analog.io without much negotiation taking place; the seller literally woke up to a completed sale.
Although the domain wasn’t disclosed officially at the time, pointers to the new venture indicate that Analog.io was acquired by Abu Dhabi-based entrepreneur, Alex Kipman, who is the CEO of G42.
The latter is “a leading AI & Cloud Computing company based in Abu Dhabi, committed to inventing a better everyday through the power of people and technology.” G42 operates from the domain name G42.ai.
Regarding Analog, Alex Kipman noted:
“Analog is born out of the ambition to mix human needs with the sophisticated potential of AI. As we step into this new era of computing, Analog will be at the forefront of innovation, crafting technology that amplifies rather than replaces human skills.”
Dot .io domains for AI companies?
It’s possible. Meanwhile, the registrant of Analog.ai is seeking $345,000 dollars for the domain name.
