AusRegistry, the Australian domain name Registry, shared its latest domain registration report for the month of May 2018.
Each report contains information on registration, transactions, renewals, transfers and drop-offs. Also included in the reports is the overall number of .au domain names registered in the Australian name space and a breakdown of each zone; com.au, net.au, id.au, asn.au and org.au.
Domain registrations for May were down by 14% for the same period of time last year. A total of 3,133,144 *.au domains are now under management, of which 2,780,936 domains represent the most popular Australian TLD, .com.au.
