Phishing and scamming on the Internet is hitting an all-time high these days.
Domainers are especially urged to be on the lookout for specially formatted forgeries of registrar emails – that are, in fact, nothing but honeytraps for stealing one’s username and password.
Lately a lot of email phishing is about social network media accounts: twitter, myspace, facebook etc. The list is endless.
While some are obviously badly made, we received a really good one, with Angelina Jolie‘s pouting mugshot. She wants to be our facebook friend; all we have to do is click on the link to – supposedly – log into our account.
