Several successful domain name investors are made millionaires, simply because they were involved in the industry’s infancy, spending capital to acquire the cream of the crop.
Domain name acquisitions and sales require consistency, however, as millions aren’t made in a day. One can both make and lose money with every investment.
A list from 2013 claims that there were at least 60 top domain name millionaires at the time and while we’d like to give it credit, one should take that list with a pinch of salt.
Some have unfortunately passed, others were never millionaires to begin with, and some are no longer involved with the companies listed, or with domain names at all. It’s also interesting to mention that there are only 2 women on this list! 😮
