The sale of BRB.com, an acronym that often stands for “be right back” was shared by domain investor James Booth.
Known for being the one of two Booth brothers that tends to share both domains and sales numbers, James noted that the sale of this aged, rare acronym LLL .com involved a “7-figure sum.”
It’s anyone’s guess if that’s $1 million or $9.999 million dollars, but what counts is the sale which is under NDA.
BRB.com was registered in 1997 and was acquired in May 2019 by James Booth’s BQDN.com outfit, at the time operating out of Singapore.
The new owner of BRB.com operates from the account @Chadlums and appeared to be philosophical in their acceptance speech of the domain name—as anyone with this much money to spare on a LLL .com should be.
