Details about the acquisition were not disclosed, but based on the amount of seed funding that Hallpass Media received three years ago, it could be in the 8 figure range!

Doesn’t Fusible have an “exclusive” on HallPass news?
Congrats to Bill for the sale. An interview about his future domain endeavors may be in order.
Yanni – Exclusivity exists only when you can get to the source of the news first 😉
Bill is a world class entrepreneur and this is definitely big news for his future endeavors!
Great News – that should be a motivation to many domain name (website) owners / investors
It’s easier to sell your company like Bill Kara did when you don’t even need the money. Bill is already rich.
Gaming domains have been selling real well lately, and it’s no surprise when you think how much time people spend gaming online now. I think we will continue to see quality game domains and companies get bought up. I wasn’t expecting to see Hallpass get acquired but they have built a great game company so I guess it’s no surprise!
Anastasia – That’s not the point, is it? What is the definition of “rich” anyway. Selling a successful enterprise for lots more than your annual cost makes one a successful entrepreneur.
Rob – Thank you for sharing your useful insight 🙂
