Some things lead to a celebration but the sale of the domain Celebration.com appears to have taken place quietly.
The domain resolves to Celebration, an event web site and registry provider, that worked out of the domain name CelebrationWishes.com for a while. That domain now forwards to Celebration.com.
The company formed as Our Honeymoon Wishes Inc in 2018 and still operates HoneymoonWishes.com as far as we can tell. The sale most likely took place in August 2024, per WHOIS records. However, Celebration Wishes used its original domain as late as in December 2024.
Celebration.com had been in the possession of Houston-based Celebration Computer Systems for a while.
We have received information that in 2023 the asking price for the domain name Celebration.com was any offer above the $250,000 dollar threshold. Our source indicated that the seller briefly considered “$200,000 dollars in cash” as the floor price but that offer was not delivered at the time.
Celebration.com is an ultra premium domain name registered in 1995.
