ChatSpot, the AI-powered sales and marketing assistant developed by serial entrepreneur, Dharmesh Shah, has received a domain upgrade from its ChatSpot.ai domain.
In today’s blog post titled “Effortless CRM Insights Within Reach” the ChatSpot operators list this week’s news and updates. The first one reads as follows:
It’s interesting to note that the company has not moved from ChatSpot.ai to ChatSpot.com; it uses the latter as a redirect.
That’s because the top results for “ChatSpot” in Google point to the .ai domain name. In the coming weeks, with URL redirecting following proper SEO protocols, it’s possible that the company will move to ChatSpot.com but it’s not really necessary.
Registered in 1997, the domain name ChatSpot.com was reported as sold on NameBio for the sum of $8,300 dollars in June.
In recent months, Dharmesh Shah announced the sale of Chat.com for “8 figures.” The multi-talented entrepreneur has been an active supporter of acquiring premium domain names at elevated prices.
