A dictionary domain such as Considerable.com should not expire and drop but it happened.
Registered in 2000, Considerable.com was parked with PPC ads the majority of the first two decades of its life. It was part of the Marchex portfolio of domains that GoDaddy acquired, stacking it at its NameFind repository.
By 2018 the domain was sold via Afternic to a startup called Considerable. It described itself as “A financial and lifestyle brand for people who are redefining what it means to grow older and are looking forward to what’s next.”
The company’s archived web site from 2018 was matched by an active Twitter account that no longer exists.
Considerable rebranded as Hella, stylized as Hella+ in 2022, as this capture shows. From August 2022 Considerable.com started to forward to HiHella.com and its blog section in particular. One would think that life would continue as before for years to come.
That didn’t happen.
Hella+ did a quick rebrand to Hella+Health and in May 2024 it was acquired by CVS Health! The HiHella.com domain started to forward to AttainHealth.com, most likely losing its immediate control of Considerable.com.
And that’s how a great domain such as Considerable.com was allowed to expire and drop. Today’s auction at DropCatch closed at $17,507 dollars.
