Demand Media rebranded to Leaf Group in 2016, and it was acquired by Graham Holdings for $323 million in 2021.

Graham Holdings restructured Leaf Group, dividing it into two separate entities: a marketplace business and a lifestyle publishing division—World of Good Brands. That same year (2023) Lindsey Abramo, formerly Leaf Group’s chief revenue officer, was appointed CEO of the newly formed lifestyle publishing arm.
The mother company of it all just folded and just like that the Leaf Group, formerly Demand Media, is forever gone, along with the rest of the World of Good Brands portfolio of companies.
