DNWE.com and two other domain marketplaces to close down

DNWE.com, a domainer-centric marketplace operated by British entrepreneur Ryan De Corsie Ewen, is shutting down.

The Dot UK Group operates DomainManage.com and acquired DNWE.com last year. The previous owners went on to form DNX.com.

DNWE.com will be closing on October 28th as we shift our focus to other projects. All listings will end on that date. If you have any questions or need assistance before then, please reach out to support@dnwe.com. Thank you for being part of DNWE — it’s been a great journey, and we truly appreciate your support.

But this is not the only domain marketplace owned by the Dot UK Group that is closing: Two other marketplaces, Flip.uk and Brandable.uk are also shutting down, effective October 27th, 2025.

Identical tweets were posted recently from the Flip and Brandable accounts on X:

Brandable.uk will be closing on October 27th as we shift our focus to other projects. If you need to download any paperwork or records, please make sure to do so before October 27th. Thank you for being part of Brandable — it’s been a great journey.

And:

Flip.uk will be closing on October 27th as we shift our focus to other projects. If you need to download any paperwork or records, please make sure to do so before October 27th. Thank you for being part of Flip — it’s been a great journey.

There is a certain lack of clarity about the reason behind these domain platform closures, all while speculation ensues that GoDaddy has acquired the lot.

Having fewer established, independent platforms to promote and sell domains on is a backwards step for the domain industry.
