HOLY is a Berlin-based beverage startup founded in 2020 by friends Mathias Horsch, Philipp Nass, and Frederick Jost.
Launched in April 2021, the company aims to revolutionize the soft drink industry by offering healthier, more sustainable alternatives to traditional sugary beverages. HOLY’s products are powder-based, reducing packaging waste and carbon emissions by over 90% compared to conventional drinks.
HOLY operates from the domain name HOLY.de in Germany and from WeAreHoly.com worldwide—until last week.
According to a post by domain investor Thorsten, a German fashion retailer that operated from the domain Holy.com gave it up in an apparent sale.
Registered in 1997, the domain name Holy.com now forwards to WeAreHoly.com. In this major instance of domain rebranding, the new domain remains in German hands!
