Domain sightings: Convergint, which is not a typo of Convergent

In 2021, SageNet acquired Convergent, an industry leader providing primarily digital signage solutions to widely distributed enterprises for 35 years.

Meanwhile, another company that’s called Convergint uses this creative brand that sounds like “convergent.” The company operates from the domain name Convergint.com that was registered in 2001.

Convergint offers a wide range of digital solutions, such as electronic and physical security, digital transformation, healthcare security, and more. Here’s one of the company’s corporate vans, in another case of “domain sightings.”

What’s a “domain sighting,” you may ask.

It’s when we encounter domain names in the real world, that appear on vehicle wraps and signs, billboards and business signs, and product packaging. For convenience, we group them into .com domain sightings, and other ccTLDs, gTLDs and TLDs.
