What are domain sightings? Think of them as random encounters with domain names in the real world, such as on car wraps and signs, business entrances, and other non-virtual media. If it’s a real world item with a domain name of it, it’s a domain sighting.
We separate these domains “in the wild” in two categories: dot .com domains, and everything else.
This time we came across Window Genie, a company operating from the domain name WindowGenie.com. The domain was registered in 1998, and their corporate web site states:
“Window Genie is America’s leader in home services. We specialize in window cleaning, window tinting, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and more. Each Window Genie location is locally owned and operated by franchise partners who are dedicated to improving the look and value of homes and small businesses in their communities.”
This domain sighting happened in the parking lot of a business plaza, where the Window Genie popped up. If you use their services, tell them we sent you.
