McDonalds is re-introducing the Double Big Mac, a stack of four beef patties, lettuce, pickles, cheese, and sauce.
After a four year hiatus, the Double Big Mac has overgrown the reasons it was discontinued: the health-consciousness of the Covid-19 pandemic and limited operational hours.
Who cares about health and Covid-19 now, right? Not McDonalds, apparently, as the Double Big Mac will feature twice the meat calories, excluding the bread which increases by 50%.
Picking up on the refreshing news, the re-registration of the domain DoubleBigMac.com is not coincidental; the domain was registered as far back as in 2013 according to historic WHOIS data from DomainTools.
In the past, DoubleBigMac.com featured some type of a blog. It belonged to a guy named Jeff:
“My name is Jeff. I’m originally from Chicago, but I now live in Scottsdale. During the day, I’m an internet marketing specialist. During the night, I’m an avid video game player and sci-fi nut. I am currently engaged to the love of my life and we are the parents of two awesome dogs.”
Now, it’s just a domain name parked on PorkBun. Ironic? 🙂
