The Future Project, a company based in New York, appears to be the buyer of the ultra-premium domain, Future.com.
We reported its sale just a few days ago, noting that the domain seller appears to have been Chinese.
The buyer of Future.com upgraded from TheFutureProject.org.
The company owns several other domains with the “future” keyword, but a different company owns TheFutureProject.com, apparently.
What exactly is The Future Project and what issues are they trying to address?
According to their web site:
“America is supposed to be a place of possibility. But amid major challenges, we’ve become more pessimistic than ever before.
Worst of all, millions of young people are growing up hopeless and disengaged, without the belief or the skills they need to lead in the 21st century.
We work with schools to unlock the limitless potential of every young person in this country.”
While we can speculate on the sales figure of the premium domain, Future.com, there is no information thus far regarding its sales price, which could be in the seven figure USD range.
