Two aged domains, Breed.com and Fungus.com, changed hands in recent days, after their previous registrant sold them.
Florida based First Place® Internet appears to have sold the two domains to different buyers: Fungus.com was acquired by domain investor Brent Oxley, as the landing page suggests. Fungus.com was registered in 1995.
Meanwhile, Breed.com—also a 1995 registration—was transferred to a German registrar and despite the domain’s privacy WHOIS the registrant’s locale is in Germany. The landing page displays a message that “breed.com was successfully registered. There is no content yet.”
In recent days, First Place® Internet has been selling its domains directly or via Sedo; Pandas.com went for $12,000 dollars while Crossfire.com commanded $18,000 dollars. Their largest reported sale this week was Jewellery.com for $33,000 dollars.
