The newly launched service by Flippa, allowing users to display custom landers for their domains for sale, is catching on.
Almost 2,200 domain names now use the custom ns1.flippa.com and ns2.flippa.com nameservers, which enable the custom settings. One has to add their domains on their Flippa account as well, or the domains will not resolve.
Our latest count covers .com, .net, .org, .info, .us and .mobi domains.
While many rushed to take advantage of this new type of instant ‘for sale‘ landers, most use the default page without customizing its content; one thing that gets customized, however, is the asking price and any BIN. For best results, customizing the page’s description is strongly advised.

Shortly before the Flippa offering, Sedo launched a $59 “Send to auction” service; such healthy competition in the domain industry can only benefit domain investors, per our comparison of the two.
africafest.com …..looks like domain name sales lander?
Thanks for your tip. This sales landing page looks great! Sedo doesn’t have a proper lading page which clearly shows “THIS DOMAIN IS FOR SALE”. They are more interested in showing the ads. I was looking for this type of sales landing page for a some time since ads are not paying off, i am more interested in selling domains.
I don’t know much about Flippa. If Sedo doesn’t come up with some similar Landing page soon, I am going to move some of my domains to Flippa and try this service.
hire Domains – Looks like the DNS was changed quickly.
Nice lander page.
DNS should allow users to edit the lander pages and include “offer” and “buy it know” buttons on their pages as well. They should also allow you to add at least one picture.
