British wonder band Frankie Goes To Hollywood, was the original “Chip” band in the 80s.
Not only did they get to be known by the FGTH acronym, four letters devoid of vowels and the letter ‘V’, but they also sang about “Chips.”
Their 1984 hit, “The Power of Love“, contains the epic line:
“When the chips are down I’ll be around”
Coincidental? We don’t think so. 😀

Indeed, the price of “Chips” has been down since the turn of the year, dropping below their mid-2015 high, and some domain investors are rushing to sell, while others are holding onto their precious domain investments.
These days, FGTH goes with the domain FrankieSay.com, while the domain FGTH.com is owned by a – you guessed it – Chinese domain investor.
Will they be around when the price of “Chips” fall through the floor?
