Freename.io moves to the .com

Freename.io is a Switzerland‑based Web3 domain and TLD platform founded in 2022 that offers users the ability to register, mint, and monetize blockchain-based domain names across multiple chains.

Freename became the world’s first Web3 registrar to receive ICANN accreditation, allowing it to sell traditional DNS domains alongside Web3 names, and enabling domain mirroring and tokenization.

As of today, Freename has moved to Freename.com, a domain that they owned for a while. The announcement indicates extended trust in the world’s #1 TLD, dot .com.
