Two early domain investors are joining forces in Long Island, NY, after years of healthy competition.
Merging companies, LongIsland.com and LongIslandExchange.com are forming a new, joint venture, to provide more exposure to local businesses.
The merger creates Long Island Media Inc., that combines a large collection of web sites based on and dedicated to Long Island.
John Colascione, founder of Long Island Exhange, is now the Chief Executive Officer at Long Island Media, Inc. and Ralph Cristello, founder of LongIsland.com will serve as the President.
Long Island User Cars also becomes part of the joint venture between Colascione and Cristello.
