The ongoing argument about domain size came into play, as the latest registration data was released by ntldstats.
Wiggling around from the rear, the .Wang gTLD currently measures more than 284,000 registrations.
That’s doubling in size since mid May; in other words, .Wang is a definite grower.
“Lots of gTLDs boast huge numbers, but .Wang has a great performance thanks to its natural girth,” said the Dot .Wang registry manager, Jack Schaft.
“We might surprise you with this one, it’s a real beaut!” exclaimed Schaft.
Ntldstats provided a break down of short .Wang’s versus long .Wang’s and the unofficial results are in.
About 58% of .Wang’s are short – less than 6 characters in length – while the remainder are longer. Domain investors are divided on registering short and stout domains, or long and fancy ones.
If you own a .Wang you don’t have to obsess by measuring it all the time, just learn how to use it.
