It doesn’t happen every day that a domain sells for a whopping $2.7 million dollars, in a market that is hit by a hefty dip in the global economy.
Against all odds, ************.*** made it. The niche market of ******* has been doing rather well in the past fourteen months, giving the domain’s owner, *** *********, a great advantage in negotiating with the buyers.
“I was able to foresee the market conditions a while back and project what would be the worth of my domain, ************.***”, said ***. “I was never sold on the idea of new TLDs and have always invested in the good old original ones. I’m excited that so much money will now be put into my current projects and a trust fund for my daughters. I also plan to buy a new house as well”, said a beaming ***.
Many domain owners invest in useless new TLDs not realizing that the real money remains with com/net/org domains. Instead of flushing money down the toilet, they are advised to follow the paradigm.
In a shocking admission, ICANN spokesperson Betty Sukrum stated that ICANN is opening the market to hundreds of new gTLDs but is not willing to hold the hand of those who intend to invest in this business.
“We offer them the opportunity, not the business plan to seize it”, said Sukrum.
Wow WTF? Insane.
That’s just crazy. Any chance we may find out what the domain is?
